Note Studio
FAQ
My Library is empty. What should I do?
If your library becomes empty, it means that Note Studio doesn't know where to find your collections.
You may need to link to your collections again. See the documentation on linking to collections.
Advanced Tip
Your collections are defined in a file called 'datasource.ini'. This file can be located in different locations, depending on which version you are running.
Windows Users:
If you have handheld extensions enabled, then your Note Studio 3 data lives in (C:\Documents and Settings\{login name}\Application Data\notestudio\{palm user name})
If you have do not handheld extensions enabled, then your Note Studio 3 data lives in (C:\Documents and Settings\{login name}\Application Data\notestudio)
The second line in this file indicates how many collections are in your library. If it is zero, then this is the reason your
library is empty.
